| Scientist, engineer, architect, painter and sculptor his is the genius that defines the Renaissance Man. Only 10 or so of Leonardo's paintings still exist. Some we only know from copies made by other, later masters. He couldn't get projects to completion because he was either trying some new method or else having to run for his life until he took refuge in France and wrote those wonderful notebooks documenting his inventions, discoveries and observations. |
