College Dorm Paper Towel Holder
As a senior the daughter is living in an apartment.  Ah, yes! "I need..." raised it's shadowy head again.

What to do with the paper towels?  
A flat piece from some 'scrap' wood that daddy didn't know what kind, some dowels, glue and a few drilled holes and it's done.

The scrap was a garage cleanup for a friend in 1986.  She and her husband were moving to Ohio and needed to get rid of some junk.  I took it and put it on the shelf and forgot about it.  She'd said it was expensive wood.

It was.  It turned out to be mahogany!  What a lucky kid I have to have a mahogany paper towel holder.
