On a winter's hike on a closed portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway my friends and I came to this tunnel after having climbed up to the Devil's Courthouse overlook.  The weather had turned much colder and my sciatica was made aware of that fact so I decided to return to the vehicles and warmth.  I thought this photo was what I had snapped of the guys disappearing into the bowels of the earth.  It was the last I saw of them for some time.

The moral of this story is to not trust any photograph from any source other than your own camera anymore.  It's just too easy!
