In 2007 I was invited to join a cousin and a few of his friends in the wilderness
of the Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming.

The cabin we rent is thirty miles out from town with only the first half-mile paved.
We have to drive five miles for a cell-phone call signal.

One has to be wary of the moose that inhabit this willowy creek.
