Jack Creek Valley, Wyoming

Bridger Peak and the Continental Divide lie somewhere in the distant range.
Moose inhabit the willow thickets along the creek meandering among the pine and spruce.
Mule deer come right up to the cabin unafraid.

This Medicine Bow National Forest is a wilderness.
It's a wild and awesomely beautiful place.
It defeated me for two years running.
There's just too much 'there' about it.

In this two-hour drawing I got it this time out.
