Texas Fishing on Richland Chambers Reservoir
Richland Chambers lake is still over 3ft low. Several of the boat ramps around the lake are unusable. Here at Midway Landing we are fine as ours was still being used back when the lake got 7ft low. Our water temps should be in the lower 70's lthis week. That will slow the crappie down and get the big catfish bitting. Last wek was the best we've seen in awhile for crappie but with the cool down this week that will not be the case from now till early spring. However that cool down means the big Catfish are out and starting to bite. We'll start seeing more of those 20 and 30lb cats. Use jug lines in 15 to 25ft of water with perch or shad. Rod & Reelers are using shad, Shrimp and Danny King's punch bait. Some of the best catches coming on windy banks in 2 to 4ft of water where the mud is being churned up. Black Bass still showing up in good numbers and fairly good sizes. Fish grass and back in creeks 2 to 6ft deep. Spinner baits, Rattle Traps and soft plastic jerk baits are doing best for most anglers. Here's a great link for saving money on fishing products .Get new or old fishing products here Looks like we'll be cooler than normal this week making for great camping weather with no rain in site. Also if your in need of just about any Texas Lake Map check our site Texas Lake Maps. Larry Winters Janeen Stockwell Midway Landing

Richland Chambers Fishing Report
Richland Chambers Reservoir is a little over 3ft low. Water temp is around 80 give or take a couple of degrees. Crappie have really picked up this week as the water stays warm. Best using minnows in 13 to 28ft of water suspended around timber. Catfish slowed down bit but should pick back up when we get some cooler weather. Juglines in 15 to 25ft of water using shad or perch. Rod & reel catfish using Danny King's Catfish Bait or shrimp. Black Bass Still doing fairly well in backs of creeks and around grass. Spinner baits, rattle traps and shallow running crank baits producing some good numbers. Sand bass mainly being caught trolling and I hate that. Richland Chambers Corsicana Bass Champs!
It's been a while since we had awesome reports about a Bass tournament. The Bass Champs championship this weekend had some good numbers of fish caught. Another good sign was that there were very few 0's. Much better than the last couple of years where a lot of times half the field would zero. Plus the winning weight for 2 days was over 40lbs. A lot of these fish were reported to have been caught in grass and in the backs of creeks in 4 to 8ft of water. (Just like we've been saying for the last 3 weeks) Crappie has slowed a bit due to that last cold front but should pickup until the next one. Still in 12 to 28ft of water suspending down 6 t0 20ft deep around timber. Blue cats pushing 20lbs being caught in 18 to 30ft of water using shad or perch on jug lines. If you want to rod and reel for them use Danny King's Catfish Bait or shad on windy banks. If no wind fish around timber in 10 to 20ft of water. Trolling has been best for Sand Bass. Richland Chambers Reservoir is 3ft low. We have plenty of RV sites with water and elec. But not many with sewer open at this time. Larry Winters Midway Landing 903 599 2202

Richland Chambers Fishing Report, Black Bass?
Get out and get those Crappie today! Cold front coming and that will slow them down. Saw a couple of nice Black Bass yesterday both over 6 1/2 lbs. One of our local anglers caught these plus a few others in the 3lb range fishing a pond dam  and a cattle hump with the tops around 10ft deep using a Zoom Craw. They would not say what color are how they fished them. Still catching some smaller ones out of the grass in 4 to 8ft of water. Good catfish on jug lines with shad. Larry Winters Midway Landing

Lake Lewisville Maps just a few left!
Due to the problems Rita caused around Sam Rayburn Reservoir the Women's Bassmaster Tour inaugural event has been moved to Lake Lewisville. We do have a few Lake Lewisville lake maps left but our stock is low because of the lake switch our Lewisville map sales way up. Click here to order. We carry Lake Maps for most Texas lakes.
Now for Richland Chambers Reservoir Info. Lake is still at 3ft low and water temps in the mid 80's. Crappie fishing is still going great. So good we may be out of minnows by this afternoon. Not a lot of big Bass but fair numbers of keeper size on spinner baits or rattle traps and a few topwaters early. In 4 to 8ft of water. Catfish doing good on shad or Danny King's catfish bait. Get it here
Sand Bass are bitting but you have to find them. About half the people fishing for them are doing great but the other half can't find them at all. I would check the deeper humps.
Not a lot of traffic on the lake this weekend. But we did get a few new campers in.

Richland Chambers Reservoir Fishing
Warming up. Should be in the upper 80's today. Lake is just at 3ft low. This is great news for crappie fishing. Now you can find some of the better trees that were covered by water. But you better hurry cause usually after the first big cold front in Oct. they get lock jaw till spring. Black Bass fishing has been fairly good mostly being caught around grass in 4 to 8ft of water. Also they are being caught back up creeks. Not a lot of  suffaceing Sand Bass so check your humps in 18 to 25ft of water.
