Richland Chambers is now a little over 8ft low. You can still launch at Midway Landing, Fisherman's Point and Oak Cove. However at Oak Cove you will pay a hefty $8.00 for a boat launch. I normally would not mention
that but there is a real BUTT HEAD that works at Oak Cove and is telling everyone the ramps at Midway Landing and Fisherman's Point are closed.
Crappie have been doing great 15 to 25ft of water suspended down 8 to 20ft. Most being caught on minnows.
Catfish are biting on rod&reel in 12 to 18 ft of water on Shad, Grasshoppers and Danny King's Catfish Bait. Several good size Blue Cats being caught in the 4 to 6lb range. Some of the better ones are being caught suspended around
timber.
Sand bass are surfacing early mornings and being caught on rattle traps and tiny torpedoes. Later in day they are moving
down on humps or points 15 to 25ft deep. Slabs, spoons and Little Georges working best on the bottom.
Black Bass biting top water baits early till around 8:00am in 4 to 8ft of water holding close to timber. Up in the day
being caught in the same areas on spinner baits or Texas rigged worms. A few reports of some being caught on humps or pond
dams 10 to 15ft deep. No good color pattern at this time.
